We believe High Definition video conferencing is on its way to becoming a mainstream business tool. As this happens, the number of calls being made and the importance of those calls increases. The challenge for video conferencing service delivery teams is to scale their operations to meet this massive increase in demand in an efficient manner. The traditional video conferencing model of simply adding more people doesn’t work.
We are on a mission to build the best tools for this; we call them “Video Conferencing Service Delivery Tools”.
Our Solution
VQ Conference Manager (“CM”) is used by advanced users (large enterprises or service providers) of video conferencing to schedule, launch, manage, monitor and report on large numbers of video calls across multiple MCUs. Typical deployments have a central operations team located in a VNOC (Video NOC) with bridges located in a central location or distributed worldwide. Customers for VQ Conference Manager include some of the world’s leading service providers and enterprise users of video conferencing.
VQ Reporting And Monitoring (“RAM”) is a separate, stand alone tool that works with Codian MCUs and Gateways to automatically obtain Call Data Records from the MCU and Gateways. VQ RAM processes them, stores them to a SQL database and then provides user interfaces that allow users to see easily, which calls that have taken place, for how long and identifies and itemizes external ISDN participants. Higher level relationships can also be defined that allow, for example, administrators to group devices and endpoints to customers and then analyze calls per customer along with associated costs. VQ RAM is typically used in environments that do not use VQ Conference Manager.
